What is semi-permanent hair colour?
It’s a gentle, ammonia-free colour that coats the hair rather than permanently changing the structure. It gradually fades over several weeks.
How long does it last?
Semi-permanent colour usually lasts 4–6 weeks, depending on how often you wash your hair and the products you use.
Will it cover grey hair?
It can soften and blend early greys but won’t fully cover stubborn greys like permanent colour does. We'll advise on the best approach during your consultation.
Is a patch test required?
Yes – even gentle colour needs a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment to make sure it’s safe for your skin.
Is it good for first-time colour clients?
Absolutely – it’s a great way to experiment with tone, shine or a subtle change without a long-term commitment.
Can I upgrade to a permanent colour later?
Yes – you can transition to a longer-lasting colour at any time. Just ask your stylist about your options when you’re ready.
