What a Full Head Highlights & Tint appointment includes
A full head service that builds dimension and coverage in one visit.
- Colour consultation to agree your target shade, brightness level and placement
- Full head foil highlights applied through the top, sides and back for all-over lift
- A tint to add depth, enhance your base shade or improve coverage (often at the roots)
- Toning to refine warmth, cool down blondes or balance contrast after lifting
- Clean, blended finish through the crown, hairline and parting for a consistent look
- Styling finish so you can see the colour balance in natural movement
Full Head Highlights & Tint is ideal when you want lift and coverage in one colour service
- Your previous highlights have grown out and you want brightness back all over
- You want lighter ribbons through the hair but still prefer a richer, more natural-looking base
- You are noticing greys and want coverage without losing dimension
- Your colour looks flat and you want contrast that still blends well at the roots
How Full Head Highlights & Tint is carried out: foils, tint and toner
Your appointment starts with choosing the level of lift and the end result you want to see in the mirror. Foils are placed across the whole head to create even brightness, then a tint is used to build your base shade or improve coverage where needed. A toner is then selected to fine-tune the tone so the highlights and base colour sit together rather than looking stripy or brassy.
Aftercare that keeps highlights bright and the tint glossy
Use a colour-safe shampoo and conditioner and keep heat protection in your routine to prevent fading and dryness. If your blonde tends to go warm, a purple or blue-toning product can help between visits, used as directed to avoid over-toning. Maintenance usually involves a root tint and refresh of highlights on a regular schedule, depending on how fast your hair grows and how bright you like your blonde.

Every time I visit The Dolls House, I feel so welcome and always leave absolutely delighted with my hair. I had a full head of highlights, cut, and blow-dry with Annabelle, and the whole experience was fabulous. I can’t wait for my next colour appointment! x
