Yes – a patch test is required at least 48 hours before your first tint with us, even if you’ve had colour elsewhere. How long does it take? Root tints usually take around 1–1.5 hours including application, development time and a blow-dry if added. How often should I get my roots tinted? Most clients come every 4–6 weeks to keep regrowth blended and colour looking fresh. Can I combine a root tint with other services? Yes – it’s often paired with toners, glosses, blow-dries or trims.
